FMC announced this week the creation of a worldwide basis to market biological pesticides . The company signed two trade agreements , according to a statement should make it a leader in the segment . The values ​​of the business were not disclosed .

One of the operations is a collaboration agreement with the company Chr Hansen , specializing in the area of ​​life sciences products for crop protection . For Hansen , it will increase production and manufacturing , with obejtido to develop new products . The FMC will make the development and registration of products in addition to their marketing .

According to a statement , is expected to launch at the end of this year in Brazil a product for the industry cane sugar. Also according to the company , the technology promises , plus protection , more productivity .The FMC also announced the acquisition of the Center for Biological Solutions intended for Agriculture and the Environment ( CAEB ) . The institution , located in North Carolina ( USA ) specializes in research for sustainable agriculture .

The aim is to enhance performance in the area of research for biological products . According to FMC , Caeb involves the acquisition of a broad intellectual property, including patented technologies have , in addition to various types of organic products in various stages of development.
