Philips Horticulture LED lighting, which is the international market with solutions for the industry since 2007, now brings to Brazil the technology that can help the producer the best production quality, saving about 80% with the lighting.

"We have an LED solution that can replace incandescent bulbs to the lengthening of the day, ensuring a longer life, and brings a different spectrum. Plant sees more red and blue. Accordingly, our lamps work with these spectra for do photosynthesis, bringing more efficiency and sustainability, "explains Leandro Baer, account executive of Philips Brazil to Horticulture.

The LED solutions can be applied in the production of chrysanthemums, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, roses and cane sugar. "The product is suitable for greenhouses, despite having capacity for production in open areas," says hi mechatronic engineer.

According to Baer, the demand for lighting products in the industry is growing in Brazil, but the market is still limited. In the case of Philips, the intention is to find solutions that fit each profile producer. "We do not want to offer a product, but a solution. Wanna hear each producer, know how they are producing to offer a recipe lighting," he says.
