Waste water in Brazil
(Source: Google)
According to Professors Marta Tocchetto and Lauro Pereira, respectively, of the Federal Rural University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and the University of Campinas in São Paulo (Campinas-SP), Brazil has 13% of freshwater Planet! Recalling that the amount of fresh water in the non reaches 3%.
However, Brazil wastes about 70% of its fresh water available. That's right, for every 100 liters of fresh water, the Brazilian plays out (wastes) 70 liters. And how he manages this feat? Well, washing driveway with car washes, leaving taps running when brushing teeth, shower baths far beyond the time necessary etc.. Measures such as changing the pressure taps (activated with a touch that releases a minimal amount of water and necessary), with discharge valve for low flow urine, water supply companies to reduce water losses either by underground pipes or damaged pipes, it would be, in our view, a great help to reduce scarce and so necessary to human survival as is water.
Finally, do not need to act when everything is finished, explain otherwise, you need to realize that there is no water waste it, but a mistake, is irrational? Lack the world, and especially the Brazilian, a little more environmental education!
